A few months ago I began working on a new Search Engine Optimization (SEO) campaign for www.satcomstore.com. Since link building is a major component of SEO, I had the following link badges created. The strategy was to offer these to our customers so they could add them to their websites.
The badges were designed to be attractive but also to help our search results for certain keywords, which is why the links at the bottom of the graphic are "live text". They are not part of the image but designed in html so the search engines would read the anchor text and hopefully help us continue to move up in the rankings.
So far so good, I'll let you know how successful is was at a later date.
